Following is a list of people who officially represented the Prophet to the chiefs, kings, and emperors of the surrounding nations.

1Ja’far b. Abu Talib

Mission: In 8 BH, Jafar b. Abu Talib successfully represented the Muslim in the court of Najashi (King of Aksumite Kingdom) against the Quraysh envoy ho petitioned the king to extradite the Muslim refugees.

2Amr b. Ummayyah al-Damri al-Kinani

Mission: In 6 AH, The Prophet sent him to the successor of Najashi with the message.

3Dihyah b. Khalifah al-Kalbi

Mission: In 6 AH, The Prophet sent him to Heraclius, the Byzantine (Eastern Roman)1 emperor. The ambassador of the Prophet was treated well.

4Hatib b. Abu Balta’a al-Lakhmi

Mission: In 6 AH, The Prophet sent him with the message to Muqawqis, the king of Egypt and vassal to the Romans. The ambassador was treated with respect and Muqawqis sent a gift to the Prophet.

5Shuja’ b. Wahb al-Asadi

Mission: In late 6 AH, The Prophet sent him with the message to Harith b. Shimar, king of the Ghassan, vassal to the Romans and its governor of Syria.

6Salit’ b. Amr al-Amiri

Mission: In late 6 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to Hawzah b. Ali al-Hanafi, king of Yamamah. He accepted the message.

7Ala b. Hadrami

Mission: In late 6 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to Munzir b. Sawa al-Abdi al-Tamimi, ruler OF Bahrayn, vassal to the Sassanid Persians and its governor of Eastern Arabia (from Bahrayn to the Persian Gulf). He accepted the message and became Muslim.

8Abdullah b. Huzafah al-Sahmi

Mission: In early 7 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to Abrawiz b. Hurmuz, the Kisrah (Emperor of Persian). He rejected the message and tore the letter.

9Harith b. Umayr al-Azdi

Mission: In mid 8 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the king of Busra. , in Amman. The ambassador was martyred by enemies before he reached his destination.

10Amr b. al-Asi al-Sahmi

Mission: In late 8 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to Jayfar and Abd, the sons of Juldi, in Amman. The accepted the message.

11Muhajir b. Abu Umayyah al-Makhzuni

Mission: In 9 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the sons of Abd Kulal in Yemen.

12Mu’az b. Jabal al-Khazraji

Mission: In late 9 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the sons of Abd Kulal in Yemen.

13Abu Musa al-Ash’ari

Mission: In 9 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the sons of Abd Kulal in Yemen.

14Amr b. Hazam al-Khazraji

Mission: In late 10 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the sons of Abd Kulal in Najran.

15Jarir b. Abdullah al-Bajali

Mission: In 11 AH, the Prophet sent him with the message to the sons of Abd Kulal in Yemen.
